We are very particular with our prints. They have to make a statement but not get lost in translation. Our personal pattern collection ranges from artsy floral frocks to abstract print skirts.Whether its dots or stripes we can teach you how to get it right fashion prints are as trend driven as colour and garment style. Fashion prints are becoming an increasingly utilised tool in a fashion designer’s tool kit.This season while the 70's style stays high on rotation, its hippy vibe gets an androgynous makeover. Think bold and bright with colour blocking and layering being key to nailing the look

few types of prints commonly used are

1. Floral – It is the simplest and chicest option. Floral jackets, skirts, shorts, shirts all give your wardrobe a head turning look.There are names descriptive of the scale of the floral such as Liberty or the style such as Ditsy.

2.Geo – Strike the perfect balance between feminine and flirty with geometric designs.Geometric prints range from colour blocking random shapes to the tessellating patterns inspired by Islamic art.

3.Graphic/Abstract – Adopt an I couldn't care less attitude with abstract designs. Abstract is used to describe unrecognisable forms and motifs, mostly because they cannot be described any other way. Graphic is descriptive of the boldness of a print.

4.Animal/Skin – Printed replicas of various animal skins is the perfect way to nail the trend's feminine aesthetic.

5.Conversational – Recognisable images such as everyday objects and animals generally taken out of familiar context or placed in conjunction with out of context images i.e. human legs carrying houses. Often ‘cartoon’ in rendering and with a whimsical feel, also called novelty prints
